2005  Jesse Crain of Twins gets the win vs. Tampa – his record as a reliever goes to 8-0,was 3-0 last year and he sets MLB record of 11 relief wins to start a career
2001  Cal Ripken Day” at Baltimore – they beat the White Sox and he has 3 hits
2001  “Barry Bonds Day” in SF – they beat St. Louis and he gets a double and 3 walks
1999  Toronto pitcher John Frascatore ties MLB record with his 3rd win in 3 consecutive appearances in 3 days
1997  Mike Tyson suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission for biting Evander Holyfield’s ear during their fight
1994  The Orioles (6) and Angels (5) combine for MLB record tying 11 HRs – 8th time in history 11 HRs were hit in a game  - will be surpassed
1990  NYY Andy Hawkins throws a no hitter but loses to the White Sox 4-0 – 5 walks and 3 errors account for the runs
