1998  Shaquille O’Neal records his 1,000th career block
1995  Larry Brown wins his 500th NBA game
1992  Tom Seaver and Rollie Fingers elected to Hall of Fame – Seaver won 311 games, 2.86 ERA, 231 complete games, 3 Cy Young awards – Fingers 341 saves, 2.90 ERA and won Cy Young and MVP in 1981 with 28 saves and 1.04 ERA
1989  Cleveland Cavaliers tie NBA record by blocking 21 shots in a game vs. NY Knicks – Larry Nance had 11 of them
