1990  Boston’s Roger Clemens is ejected from the ALCS in the 2nd inning for cursing at the umpire
1987  San Francisco’s Jeff Leonard sets a playoff record with his 4th consecutive game with a HR
1980  Kevin McHale makes his NBA debut with the Boston Celtics
1980  George Brett hits a 3 run HR in the 7th inning and beats NYY as Royals advance to the World Series
