2002  Bartolo Colon of Expos gets his 10th win of the season – only 2nd in MLB history to have 10 wins in both leagues in a single season – had 10 for Cleveland
2002  KC 1st base coach Tom Gamboa is attacked on the field by a father and son who are arrested
2001  Rookie Albert Pujols gets his 120th RBI of the season – breaks a 70 year old NL rookie mark
2001  Roger Clemens wins his 20th – record is 20-1 with 3.42 ERA – season 20-3, 3.51 ERA
2000  Ken Griffey Jr. hits his 400th HR
1998  Alex Rodriguez hits his 40th HR – joins 40 HR and 40 steal club of Canseco and Bonds – Soriano will later join
1998  Atlanta Braves win their 100th game of the season – won 100 last year – 1st team since Philadelphia in 1976-1977 to have back to back 100 wins seasons
1988  U.S. Olympic diver Greg Louganis hits his head on the diving board
